Someone at BairesDev reached out to me and asked me to interview, but when I attended the interview I wasn’t even told what job it was for — and I had to be the one to ask at the end of the interview! The person interviewing me was distracted the whole time, and genuinely gave off an air of disinterest about everything. I could tell they were reading off a script of questions and just trying to check boxes. I was asked a series of the most random math and trivia questions that have absolutely nothing to do with any job but then when I was given time to ask about the company, the answers were incredibly vague. I asked about benefits and the person said “I don’t know I will have to find out”. It really baffled me that HR rep who is interviewing people doesn’t know the company’s benefits at the top of their head? Overall, it gave me an uneasy feeling about working here, and I declined early on in the process.

First video interview was with Daniela Carrera and lasted less than 30-minutes and very comprehensive. Solid overview of the role, review of candidates experience and plenty of time for questions. Next step expectations were addressed and the call pleasantly came to a conclusion.
