My experience with the recruitment process, in particular with the local recruiter in charge, was quite disappointing. Communication from the recruiter was extremely slow: even simple requests, such as rescheduling a call (which had been postponed on their end), took several days to get a response. Additionally, the recruiter had limited knowledge about the role and was unable to clearly address questions. The interaction felt somewhat transactional, with a heavy reliance on AI automated messages rather than meaningful engagement. Overall, the whole process lacked the level of professionalism, courtesy and knowledge I would expect. Compensation for the role also appeared to be way below tech market standards.
