Got referred through my Linked In connection. Got a call within two days from recruiter. Had a interview setup within 2 days. The recruiter was very prompt and responsive. The interviewer was Product manager, asked questions on experience, situational, cloud, salesforce, sql. Took 1 hour to finish. Only thing I didn’t like was the interviewer himself hasn’t done any work on a specific tech and was expecting me to have experience. In fact their entire team was not doing any of that kind of work in that technology but he was asking me if i had done any cloud design. I told him it’s normally done by cloud architect and not product analyst. He and his team were not even working in cloud technologies. Most of the questions felt like he assumed that I’m lying or something as he was asking unnecessary cross questions. The next day I see him asking for profiles in LinkedIn. I felt like its a conflict of interest, when you’re bringing in profiles of your connections and friends and you’re the one in charge of hiring the candidate. I didn’t expect this kind of practice from Salesforce.

1. 20 minutes initial recruitment phone interview 2. 60 minutes general interview (Frontal - Zoom, following the coronavirus) with the direct manager 3. Home assignment - spent about 3 days to complete 4. 1.5 - 2 hours frontal interview (Zoom) with the direct manager and team member - two phases: 1st - reviewing the home assignment 2nd - professional discussion (SQL questions, business use cases) 5. 60 minutes frontal interview (zoom) with the direct manager - personal interview, matching expectations, open discussion 6. 60 minutes frontal interview (zoom) with the team member - open discussion 7. Employment reference (2 recommenders contacts)
