Entrevista
An interview process that truly tests you knowledge as an Android Developer and not just general CS fundamentals & algorithms that you will never use on the day to day.
The 1-1 phone screen was an Android based interview where you needed to implement certain features in the App to get it to function properly. There was a keen focus on completing al the steps and not as much best practices, Although you get bonus point for implementing in a clean way. Focus on modularity & readability.
The On-Site was very much the same. You do some system design and architecture of an app, then you given 2 - 2.5 hours to implement the app from the system design. You can use any third party libraries you like. Once again, there is a keen focus on completion, so get as much done as you possibly can!
Overall, best interview experience I've had since it really tests your skills for the role you are applying for, which is to be an Android Engineer @ Lyft!
The recruiter reached out to be through linkedin inmail. It was an initial screening round. It was easy with bsic questions like tell me about your background, project most proud of. also they asked a few mcq questions (technical) during the call.
