Nill. Just signed up and visited an orientation at a Pep Boys. Team was nice enough and was easy to understand. No barrier to entry, but be sure your car is on point and resdy for many miles.
- How is the driving record?

The interview was a standard Product Manager interview with the Product sense and metrics sections. One issue I faced with the interviewer was that in the case of hypothetical questions, they were not engaged (it was on zoom) to provide some direction. I was hard to read the body language and felt like you are on your own.
- If Lyft were to get into the parking business, what would you do?

Initial phone screen with recruiter, phone screen with hiring manager, 3 webinars or in person interviews. Great process getting to see all different sides of business and opportunity to ask 4 people their opinions
- 3 different categories of questions from 3 different people.

2 round of technical interviews, and 1 round of behavior interviews. It was quick and nice. It is a pretty good experience to have the processes. I recommend to interview with Lyft

Technical screen - one hour online coding Technical interview - one our online coding. System design - two rounds, one hour each. The interview surprised me because it was needed to provide solution as a program, i.e. it should use standard input and output like for codeforces solutions. I wasn't familiar with it at that point. Despite I didn't pass I got detailed feedback about all rounds.
- One hard leetcode question for technical screen, one medium leetcode question for interview. Medium system design questions.

First round is a generic recruiter call, second is a technical mysql interview on Coderpad with a random data science employee, third is a 48-hr take-home case study, and fourth is a 45-min presentation with a 30-min behavioral. There were two parts of this experience that left a bad taste in my mouth towards Lyft: 1 - For 75% of the interview process, you get 0 interaction with your potential team -- meaning you have no idea if you actually like or connect with your the manager or team. 2 - The recruiter misleads you by setting the wrong expectations of how long the process is going to take. For the case study, the recruiter tries to make it seem like it will only take less 4 hours of work (which is already a lot if you have a full-time job and other personal responsibilities). But in reality, the case study is pretty complex with multiple questions. There is zero way to finish in less than 4 hours and produce a solid presentation unless you cheat and copy someone else's work online -- which, in retrospect, is probably what I should've done to avoid pulling an all-nighter and wasting a full day just to receive an automated rejection email after the recruiter said I would receive feedback. The experience didn't make me feel invested to join Lyft at all -- I never even got to meet who I would work with after 3 weeks of interviews and getting lied to by the recruiter made me think getting rejected was probably the best outcome.
- - Tell me about a time you presented data to a non-technical audience - For the case study, check out GitHub's Lyft Challenge

first there was a recruiter call, then the first interview, then a long assignment, then the second interview. I was fine but a long process. I would do it again if I had to
