Slow, choppy communications. Horrible interview questions for what appeared to be a senior management role. Clearly not well thought out -- felt incredibly cookie-cutter and not thoughtful. Very mechanical process with limited to zero time baked in for asking questions about the role or working for the company. After what appeared to be 3 great interview meetings, I received a message saying they were moving forward with other candidates that had more technology and analytical skills. The problem is there was virtually zero pre-set analytical assessment/testing done in this process, so it's difficult for me to understand how the team was able to arrive at this decision over (2) 30-minute phone calls & more importantly without seeing what I can actually do, either in person or by way of an actual analytical assessment test or hypothetical review situation (feedback and ideas for Lyft's future). For reference I've been running VC/PE backed companies in NYC doing in access of $15M in annual revenues for over 10 years. You're right Lyft -- my tech and analytics skills are weak -- back to Uber!
