I was initially selected for the first round of interviews through our campus recruiting website. KPMG holds a pre-interview social dinner to help candidates get to know their interviewers. This is a really great opportunity to learn about the position and the culture at KPMG. If you had a chance to talk to your interviewer at the dinner, then the first interview is very relaxed and conversational. The final round consisted of presentations, networking, and a couple interviews. The interviews were again very conversational. Most of the questions they ask try to gauge your fit, interest, and teamwork skills. I was never asked any technical or case questions, but I did hear others that were asked very basic finance/accounting questions.

Have you been involved in a team where some issue or problem occurred? How did you address it?
Advisory Internship interview. Two behavioral 30-minute interviews with a manager and an MD. received the offer over the phone after around 2 weeks. accepted the full time offer post internship.
2 rounds of behavioral interviews; come prepared to speak about yourself, answer scenario-based questions, and ask thoughtful questions of your interviewers.
They will ask questions specific to the Advisory practice you applied to, so come prepared with relevant accomplishments and solutions you've implemented in that domain previously.

It was fluid! The interviewer didn’t ask me anything out of the ordinary. It was primarily a fit check rather than technical. I’ve heard it varies, i may have just gotten a chill recruiter.
