Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 3 días. Acudí a una entrevista en IBM (New York, NY) en abr 2017
Entrevista
Asked technical questions, but no coding. Group interview. 5 other people interviewed me. What is agile development? Have you used testing in your programs? Do you know what a framework is? Why do you want to work for IBM? I did not know answers to about 50% of questions. I also am taking a summer class, so this may have been the reason why I did not get the position.
I had a couple of interviews with this company, so the experience might vary based on the interviewer, but overall the experience has been great in both cases. They asked me to talk about my contribution on my previous projects and they asked some follow up questions. Then they asked some technical questions, but it was mostly checking my understanding of Java, nothing sophisticated. I interviewed with them on two separate occasions and both times this was it. No coding interview or take at home assignment. Overall, I’d say it’s been a really respectul and mature interview process.
There were 3 stages.
First part was a theoretical interveiw.
The 2nd one had practical problems as well.
The 3rd one was with the manager of the project.
The process was ok and the HR was clear and helpful.
