I applied online and received an invitation for an interview after 2 weeks. The interview was scheduled after 2 weeks from the invite date. Interview: I recently completed my interview for the product manager position. The interview went well. However, the interviewer was in rush to cover 5 questions along with details in 45 mins call which was not enough to cover the details that were expected. Most Mock-Up interview training videos and even Google interview help material describes that you have to take your time and think before responding. In this case, the interviewer did not want to wait for 5 seconds to hear the answer and did not allow the complete the answer before moving on to the next one. I recommend that you check the need of the hour, adjust your speed to the answer based on the mood of the interviewer rather than taking time before responding. We cannot change the interviewer. Ask the interviewer how much time you have to answer each question before responding. Also, I was told that the interview will take one hour, however, the interviewer was given 45 mins.
