Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Google (Buenos Aires) en dic 2013
Entrevista
I submitted my CV to Google around March 2013 for a Software Engineer position for Google USA/UK.
By December 2013 a recruiter contacted me for a technical position as Account Manager for Google Argentina (where I live)
1st phone interview in english with HR recruiter:
career goals, professional experience, description about the position
One week later...
2nd phone interview in spanish with possible coworker:
again career goals, professional experience, what am I looking for, my last job and why I quitted.
but he also asked some technical questions about Comp Sci like:
- suppose I don't know about computers, how would you explain me threads and processes.
- once I write google.com at my browser and hit enter, can you describe what happens afterwards?
- do you know how does the HTTP protocol works? can you explain the different methods?
After having this interview and replying correctly these questions, they emailed me 1 week later saying I was not the best fit por the position. I'm not completely sure what was wrong since I think I replied correctly the technical questions, probably just very basically but they never told me how deep they wanted the answer to be. If it was because my experience they kind of already knew it from my CV and first interview.

Pregunta 1
Explain the difference between processes and threads to a person who has no idea about computers.
They have a very well-structured hiring process and scheduling interviews was incredibly easy and convenient. The recruiter was super friendly throughout our entire interaction, and they thoughtfully provided post-interview feedback to me, which I greatly appreciated receiving.

Got referred by a friend, had a call with a nice person from HR, after that I had an interview with a manager, relaxed conversation about how I'd adress certain topics and also did a practical case study,.
Difficile mais faisable, faut s’entraîner un maximum. Y’a des vidéos sur YouTube qui expliquent super bien tout le process. Y’a 3 étapes après le call avec le rh et c’est hyper bien fait mais faut être bien préparé
