1. Recruiter contacts you for a chat, answer some prescreen questions 2. If you pass the prescreen questions, you get a video interview Video interview gets right to the coding question. No pleasantries. No questions about current projects and your experience. No questions on how your experience and projects relate to the role. It seems like they are just basing this interview on the coding question. The coding question is done on a blank Google doc, it is not a hard question, but can be intimidating especially since it is done on a blank Google doc. If you do not satisfy their coding question, you are deemed "Not Technical Enough". That is all based on one coding question. This is a pretty archaic way to interview people in my opinion. Also, recruiters are very slow to give feedback, it takes weeks. Also, the recruiters do not get back to you when you email them. It is quite unprofessional. I was not impressed that Google conducted themselves this way.

1st Recruiter's interview 30min with knoledge awareness checking questions This interview was not a screening step. It's kind of 1st round of technical interview. Recruiter asked lots of questions on various CS background. 2nd Co-worker's technical interview Interviewer asked lot's of question based on the my background but not asked variously and question didn't match with Job Description. Their job description is looking for the person who have experience with AI/ML data processing and analytics such as like Keras, AI platforms. Interviewer strongly focused specific subject and asked me about Kafka for 10 mins. He seems that he wanted to reveal my weakness and asked only that.
