Because the recruiting team was so busy, the hiring manager reached out to me directly to schedule an initial call, followed by an assignment, then an invite to an onsite interview.
I was handed a swag bag with water, a journal, pens, and stickers upon arrival. Really nice touch.
1-on-1 interviews with various team members and stakeholders, mostly standard, behavioral questions and some about preferences and values. One stakeholder, however, arrived late, apologized, and kept checking her email and getting distracted during the interview. I later learned that I didn't get the offer because there were doubts about my ability to collaborate with her team. Even though she was never fully present in the interview.
I learned in a voicemail that I wasn't selected and the recruiter offered to walk me through the feedback, then ignored all my attempts to reach out and schedule a time to do so.
Very disappointing process!
