Job Summary
The Overseas Education Counselor – MBBS Abroad is responsible for guiding students seeking admission to international medical universities. The role focuses on counseling, conversion, and enrollment for MBBS programs in countries such as Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Nepal, and other recognized destinations. The counselor ensures accurate guidance on eligibility, documentation, visa processes, and regulatory compliance (including NMC guidelines), while achieving assigned enrollment targets.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Counseling & Admission Guidance
- Counsel students and parents regarding MBBS abroad options, eligibility criteria, and country selection.
- Assess academic profiles (NEET qualification, PCB percentage, etc.).
- Provide detailed information on fee structure, curriculum, medium of instruction, and FMGE/NExT eligibility.
- Guide students through university selection and application procedures.
- Assist in documentation, SOP (if required), and admission processing.
2. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve individual monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Convert walk-ins and leads into successful enrollments.
- Conduct follow-ups and parent counseling sessions.
- Participate in seminars, webinars, school visits, and education fairs.
3. Visa & Travel Support
- Guide students through visa documentation and interview preparation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and pre-departure briefings.
- Ensure compliance with embassy and immigration requirements.
4. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
- Stay updated on NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines for foreign medical graduates.
- Ensure students meet eligibility requirements as per Indian regulations.
- Maintain ethical counseling practices and transparent fee communication.
5. Relationship & Partner Management
- Coordinate with overseas university representatives for seat availability and offer letters.
- Maintain strong communication with partner universities and admission offices.
- Provide post-admission and first-year student support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
