There were 2 rounds in total. One Technical, which consisted of a homework assignment that the candidate has to complete in a given time and present it in the interview. (In my case it was a designing a web page that fetches files from a Walmart server.) Then there is the final (Behavioural round) where the hiring manager just wants to know more about the candidate's personality to judge whether they'll be a good fit.

The Walmart systems engineer interview process was straightforward and manageable, focused on simple technical and behavioral questions, practical scenarios, and clear communication, without excessive pressure or trick questions, overall positive.
