I applied online and spoke with an assistant manager about a part-time position. The interview was behavioral, and I was asked which department interested me. Most openings available are for cashiers, but I was able to get a sort of hybrid sales floor and cashier role.

The entire interview process at Walmart in Southington, CT was extremely easy and stress-free. They had accepted my application almost immediately, it is a very simple process to get hired.
The interview process was very quick and easy! Someone with a customer service background will do well here. Once done you need to authorize your background check and take a drug test - all standard stuff.
