Preliminary technical screening phone interview with one of the engineer. Then follow up with an all day on site interview. Since this was a Systems Engineer position, the questions spans both hardware and software topics. Seven people interviewed me in an all day interview. These are experts in their fields so they did stump me on a few questions. Luckily I have been a System Engineer for a while and was exposed to all of those topics. Nevertheless they still hired me. I think it is because I was able to show more diverse systems hardware & software understanding than other candidates.

The questions spans both hardware and software topics. Each interviewer asked about a topic that they are strong in: C, C++, Python, ASIC designs, system architecture and timing analysis. Most engineers would be strong in either software or hardware design. Luckily I have done both and I have been a System Engineer for a while and was exposed to all of those topics.

Test in a room with other candidates. afterwards a personal interview. The personal interview with the team leader and a team leader from another team. They were very nice and explained about the company and the job.
