I got a call from consultant regarding a role of managing vendors and a position of manager online marketing. I told him that I am an operations manager and have no experience in vendor management and you can process my cv if it gets shortlisted by the panel then good I will have an opportunity to learn. In the evening I got a call that my profile has been shortlisted by functional head and he wants to meet me on 11th November 2014 for first round of interview and that went really well. Then I got a call from consultant that second round of interview which is a mere formality will be conducted on 18th November 2014 and that would be with the reporting manager of functional head 'kavita nair' I met her and the interview didn't even last for 3 mins. All she said was that the skill set dont match the requirement. That was such a filthy attitude and I believe she being a tenured employee at Vodafone has developed a complecent attitude. If my skills were not matching why did they shortlist my cv?why did they take first round of interview and this psycho lady calls me for second round of interview to tell me that skills dont match ...2 hours you travel ti hear this ...this could have been communicated over the phone as well. I think she needs a shrink and some interviewing skills workshops. VODAFONE CAN ATLEAST HELP THEIR TENURED EMPLOYEES LIKE KAVITA NAIR TO GET WELL SOON AND COME OVER THEIR COMPLACENT ATTITUDE OR ELSE IF YOU WANT I WILL DO SOME CHARITY
