I had the single worst candidate experience of my career with the recruiter, who rescheduled three calls with me at the last minute and with poor communication and no accountability about it, and went dark for long periods of time with zero updates unless prompted.
The whole interview process went from a required initial 30 minute online assessment, to a phone screen 2 weeks later, followed 4 weeks later with an interview with the hiring manager, then with 4.5 weeks of no update, with me checking in weekly and little to no response, and finally I get the stock “ding” email with my name copy pasted into it in a smaller font. Shockingly bush league treatment of a management level candidate.
Vertafore has got a problem, for as long as that person is the recruiter that talented people encounter in this hot job market.

Entrevista
A day after applying, I was offered the cognitive aptitude test and personality assessment. Once finished with both, I had to do the cognitive aptitude test again while on a video feed with the recruiter. I heard nothing for weeks, then the recruiter reached back out to me to schedule an interview, only to reschedule, cancel, reschedule, and ultimately, stop responding. Being strung along like that was a terrible experience.
