phone screening with HR, interviewed by two people from the department. The HR was apparently not very professional, contacted me through whatsapp regarding the interviews. One of the interviewer was incredibly rude, drilling on my studying experiences and assuming that the worst before popping the question (asking if I came back to my home country for further education because no university would accept me when i was studying overseas) <- in the exact wording.
I mean, really, there is a better to put every question. Surely, they haven't mastered the art of languages. Lost interest by 1/3 of the interview. The thought of working for a boss who always assumes the worst in people, is just simply revolting. This kind of manner could easily put a lot of talents off. I guess Unilever has a lot to work in terms of training their employees to be a respectful interviewer. Very disappointing experience esp from a MNC. Remember, whilst you are screening for your employees, your employees also have a right to choose whether they want to enter this company. A polite manner goes a long way.
