Applied online after employee referral. CEO emailed me within a day and put me in touch with hiring manager. I sent times when I'd be available to interview to hiring manager, followed-up multiple times, never got a response after two weeks. Emailed the CEO back asking what happened...she said the hiring manager "spoke with me and was concerned with my lack of experience"...but I literally never spoke to the hiring manager and then they lied to me (or were just wrong) after ghosting for 2 weeks! No apology for the delay in response or miscommunication. Completely unprofessional.

Straight forward, clear and concise process. Tie in company values, mission statement. Understand the landscape and the roles benefits consultants play. Expect to go through a mock sales call - do your research and take it seriously.
