Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Spotify (Estocolmo, ) en sept 2016
Entrevista
First a recruiter approached me, set up a quick call, asked me around 10 quite basic technical questions, this is just a first filter. Next I got a video interview scheduled. That consisted of 3 parts, a trivia (android and computer science questions), a coding exercise (~30 minutes) and a review exercise, it took around 1.5 hours.
When they got back to me, we scheduled an on site interview. They flew me to Stockholm, they were really friendly there. I had to show one of my own projects to them, then design a feature (high level), then we had a lunch when I could ask whatever I wanted and a culture round.
They told me it went well like 1 week later and asked for some contacts for a reference check (my manager and my dev lead).
It all took around 3-4 months from the recruiter lookup until the offer.

Pregunta 1
Describe one of my successes, one of my failures, one of my conflicts

Entrevista
Technical Screen was straightforward / easy
Onsite round included a behavioral, a system design, a ds & algorithms, and IDE interviews. IDE interview involved building an android app from scratch, would recommend preparing building views if the role is front end or full stack

ds and algorithms question during the onsite was a variation of a challenging Combination Sum problem:
Given a collection of candidate numbers (candidates) and a target number (target), find all unique combinations in candidates where the candidate numbers sum to target.
Each number in candidates may only be used once in the combination.

Entrevista
I applied through their official website, then I had my first interview with HR with some normal questions about my background, why I'm interested in the company, etc. (30 min)
After this interview I was invited to a second interview (2h) with two engineers. This interview was separated into four different section.
1) General questions about computer science and algorithm
2) Some Android specific questions
3) Live coding challenge when they asked me to share my screen and develop a simple android app
4) code review, where I asked to review a code and comments on it, the code they presented had many flows BTW.
After this interview I was invited to their office in Stockholm for 3 other interviews 1h each.
1) A system design interview where I had to design an Android app on whiteboard and talk about architecture and other things related specifically to Android. The interview was challenging in a sense that the interviewers change the problem few times after I was done with it and I had to address their new concerns as well.
2) Code presentation interview where I was asked to present a code that I was proud of and answer interviews questions about my code.
3) Values interview, very similar to the first interview with some questions about my background, etc.
I also had a lunch with few engineers and had a talk with them for 1h.
After few days I was invited to a feedback meeting with HR and they gave me an offer witch I accepted.
One thing that I want to mention is that interview questions were deep and relevant to the role I applied and answering many of them required hands on experience with latest trends in Android development as well as computer science. HR feedbacks where always great and they keep you in the loop.

I applied through the website then I received an email to book a timeslot for the first interview, I booked a time and received a meeting request which I accepted.
At the interview time, I joined the Hangouts meeting and waited for 30 mins and no one showed up. I sent an email 10 mins after the interview time and no answer, I sent a message on jobvite (the website you apply through) 2 days later and also no answer.
If you need to cancel an interview for whatever reason at least let the candidate know.
If the recruiter is on a vacation let another recruiter do the interview or re-schedule the interview or at least apologize until the other one is back to work.
Totally unorganized and total waste of time.
