Was invited to interview after applying to an online posting. A company recruiter called me and conducted a phone interview/screening. I was told I would be contacted within a week to arrange a face-to-face interview, but it took several weeks to set a date because their people kept rescheduling or postponing. The face-to-face interview went well. I followed up as I always do and heard nothing back. Finally I managed to contact the recruiter and was told they were proceding with a different candidate, but that they wanted me to interview for another position. I agreed as the positon looked interesting on paper. After hearing nothing for a month, I sent attempted to contact the recruiter several times, only to be told finally that they were not hiring for the position until several months later because of a change in plans. Six months later, I haven't heard anything from them despite repeated attempts at communication. A simple "We are no longer interested" would have sufficed and demonstrated respect. There was no respect at all from this organization. I would recommend against interviewing with them.
