Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Oracle (San Jose, CA) en jul 2017
Entrevista
Phone interviews. Recruiter called and screened initially. Then I was interviewed by a employee for core skills on phone. Then I was interviewed by Sr Director on phone. Both of the interviewers seems unprofessional. The first one was very casual. Difficulty faced in setting phone time with him. The second one was a bit rude. He stopped me while talking and told me that 'this is not what I was asking' before even letting me complete.
For a Solution Architect working with OCI services, the interview was straight forward. It only implied three rounds of interviews:
1. Regular screening call with a Sr. Recruiter.
2. Interview with Hiring Manager and a colleague of the same level I was applying to showing up a use case for a customer, business case and associated rationale.
3. Interview with another architect to very technical proficiency in cloud.
Oracle doesn´t use the STAR methodology that other companies such as Google, AWS, Apple or Meta leverage.
Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Oracle (Atlanta, GA) en mar 2025

Very professional. The interviewer asked questions that spanned over various systems, cloud, and on premise. They were very accommodating with the changing schedule that I had. I would highly recommend applying for this company

Do you have any interest in AI and the innerworkings within OCI?
First had an HR screen for 30 min, then separate interviews with three people who would be peers with me who were in the department and a manager. HR was a bit slow but peers and manager were great.
