Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Microsoft (Redmond, WA) en dic 2021
Entrevista
There were two rounds of interviews. The first round was an over the phone interview with a university recruiter and contained questions about my resume as well as basic coding theory questions. The second round consisted of two interviews with different people. The first interview was a brain teaser with no coding, and the second interview was the coding interview. I thought I did really bad during both, but still got a job offer!
Preguntas de entrevista [2]
Pregunta 1
1. How would you explain recursion to a five-year-old?
2. A person has 3000 bananas and a camel. The person wants to transport the maximum number of bananas to a destination which is 1000 KMs away, using only the camel as a mode of transportation. The camel cannot carry more than 1000 bananas at a time and eats a banana every km it travels. What is the maximum number of bananas that can be transferred to the destination using only camel (no other mode of transportation is allowed).
The hiring process started with an online assessment that focused on problem-solving and coding skills.
After passing the assessment, I was invited to a series of 3 back-to-back technical interviews.
Each interview was primarily centered around data structures and algorithms, with questions similar in style and difficulty to LeetCode problems.
Interviewers also evaluated problem-solving approach, code quality, and the ability to explain thought processes clearly while coding.
Overall, the process was structured, technical, and heavily focused on algorithmic problem solving and communication skills.

The interview process begins with an online Codility assessment which includes two leetcode problems - easy/medium. After about a month I had three interview rounds of about 45 minutes each. About 15 minutes are spent for some behavioral questions about me, working in team, projects etc. The rest of the time is for leetcode problems, i would say medium. I got the interview results after a week, but it can take longer
