Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Microsoft (Dublín, Dublín)
Entrevista
I applied online through careers.microsoft.com and within 2 weeks was contacted by a recruiter from the EOC (EMEA Operations Center) office. My first interview was with the hiring manager, then an interview with a potential peer and then two senior interviews with group directors in related business lines.
After I passed all the interviewers I was contacted by the recruiter saying that the feedback from all interviewers was extremely positive and that they wanted to hear my salary expectations ("not to waist my time", which was fun because I had already spent 3+ hours on interviews by that time). In the end there happened to be over 20% difference between what they offered and what I wanted, however, they didn't reject me. I then received an email asking for my references and I provided them. I know that Microsoft contacted my recommenders and received positive feedback. However, in the end they rejected me. I found this process quite unprofessional because they kept me on the hook till the last minute with no clear intentions.

The questions were generally very easy, just standard ones about my previous experiences and the projects I used to manage. There were also a couple of behavioral questions but also nothing special.

Not a great experience with interviews taking 1 month to complete. Despite ongoing communication, the role did not move forward, reportedly due to approval constraints. The overall experience highlights a gap in aligning internal approvals before progressing candidates to advanced stages.
Clearer communication and better alignment internally would improve the candidate experience

Questions on Project Experience and Thought process
The interview process is grueling and I get why people do it but its more awareness, know that you'll spend an entire day and meet several people, so it's important to be mentally and physically prepared. Eat a good breakfast but not heavy stay hydrated. This was just for a PM role it's their standard process I imagine executive level is another thing altogether

Tell me about a time you didn't agree with someone who was a stakeholder on your project and how did you handle that?
Very smooth, thoughtful interview process. It showed the recruiter really cared what I had to contribute and asked great followup clarifying questions. Would definitely recommend everyone try an interview with them even if it doesn't pan out.
