The Dedicated-ERT primary job role is to respond to emergencies and safety concerns on campus.
They are the Operations Leader on the scene of any ERT owned emergency event, following the direction of the Incident Commander.
D-ERT are expected to ensure the safety of ERT personnel on scene and take necessary measures within their scope to protect life, community, environment, and Intel assets.
When not responding to Emergency Response Team (ERT) events, daily duties include roving the factory and support areas looking for unsafe conditions, involvement in safety programs, ERT training and tracking, preventive maintenance and/or upgrading of ERT equipment and supplies, and ensuring the readiness of the shift's emergency response team.
They must effectively role model, lead, and mentor applicable teams to produce high-quality results in order to meet the safety goals of the organization.
