It was a video conference with one person. They asked me about my research (I am a PhD student), why I want to go into finance, then asked some math/statistics questions, then asked a programming question.

Pregunta 1
- How would you approximate sqrt(110)?
- Describe linear regression, in particular what it is optimizing.
- What would be the best fit line for the points (0,4), (2,4) and (2,6)?
- There is a group of n people, and you are given a function know(i,j) that outputs True if person i knows person j. Note that this is not necessarily symmetric, i.e. person i may know person j, but person j may not know person i. A celebrity is a person that everyone knows, but who knows no one else. Write a function that outputs a list of all the celebrities.

Entrevista
I had a first a discussion with the HR where they asked me questions about my current salary and current situation and they explained me about the interview process and the role I applied for. After the call I got a link to an online test with questions in statistics and maths. Already three weeks since I had the test and never got any feedback from them.
HR, online test, Interview that consists of 2 rounds of online interviews (1 being a 1 on 1, and another a round with 3 interviews covering 3 different technical topics, then Onsite with more technicals as well as cultural fit

Pregunta 1
General experience, stats, coding, standard probability questions
Written test followed by 5 online interviews on general maths, programming, statistics and machine learning. The questions are not straightforward but doable and they don't expect you to know everything. At a later-stage interview with managers they seem to be looking for what special knowledge and value you bring to the company.
