      Entrevista

After applying online, I received an email approx. 2 days later asking me to set up a first round interview with EY Talent Recruiter. This round consisted of your general HR questions about education, background, and why EY/this role. My recruiter was outstanding, personable, and quick to relay information for me. Unfortunately, my pleasant experience with EY ended here. A week after my first round was scheduled, my second round interview was scheduled a week from that day. I showed up 10 minutes early and my interview was 15 minutes late. The interview itseld was easy, all behavioral with no technical! Although my interviewer was nice, her questions were more perfunctory and stale (she read from a standard behavioral interview sheet devised by the firm). She didn't become really engaged until I led the interview into more personable questions so that I might gauge fit. She informed me that I was a good fit and that I would hear about the next round in a week. That was in August 2014, I have yet to hear anything. The position closed out on their Taleo (online ATS system) portal and still didn't issue an official rejection. I followed up diligently with both my recruiter and interviewer. My interviewer never returned a single call or email to myself OR to her colleague, my recruiter. Finally in late September 2014, my recruiter informed me that the Atlanta firm had frozen their hiring in some capacities, my interviewed position included. This put a really bad taste in my mouth as it concerns EY's talent acquisition process. I'm not sure if it's like this for everyone but, just be aware when you're applying.

Interview process was a bit longwinded but not too difficult. Comprised of a mental maths/literacy test, followed by a virtual interview, then two face to face interviews, the second of which was slightly less formal.

A lot of questions were situational and related to relevant experiences.

      Entrevista

I was referred to the EY recruiter from a friend who wasn’t interested in the position. I had a phone interview for 1 hour and spoke about the position and shared about my experience. It’s a unique mix of Financial/reporting analyst and project support analyst which is what interest me after hearing more about it. Next step was a phone interview with the hiring manager. Spoke about the position and about my experience. I don’t recall hard questions. Just sound enthusiastic as I was after that first call with the recruiter. Next call was a follow up from the recruiter to inform me of hearing great feedback from the manager! But since I was interviewing with other companies during this time, it just so happens that one was their client. I can’t share to respect the privacy of the client. I was told I’ll probably need to choose who I talk to. Of course I choose EY as it has continuous growth especially given that it’s a Big 4. You’re career is set if you can get in! The exciting part is that the team’s office is on the client’s campus. Great as you get to enjoy a tech company’s perks. Lol Moving on, a week later I set up my onsite with a team of 6. Lasted 1.5 hours but I came in confident and brought the excitement with me as I was already pumped up after hearing good things about the company from the recruiter and hiring manager. After I was done, I was given a mini excel test. Looking for answers using pivot tables, the average function, choice of vlookup or index function, and Sumif function. Know those and you’ll be fine. I’m not great at excel but it was straight forward. Someone on the team will assist you if you need more clarification and assistance. Overall, Great vibes through the whole interview process. Had onsite close to the end of a week so I have yet to hear from them. Praying on that offer but even I don’t get the job, I have to say the team was wonderful and whoever comes in would be super lucky. Be positive even if you don’t get chosen, look at every interviews as good practice for the next one. Good luck!

      Pregunta 1

Questions were pretty straight forward...tell me about yourself, questions on your resume, how do you deal with conflict on a team etc. Nothing too technical.
