Assessment centre- This entailed group exercise, case study and a one-on-one interview with a manager. This was mostly looking at questions such as "why deloitte", "how has the credit crunch impacted the consulting industry", and also looking for examples in which you demonstrate their key competencies. The case study was quite difficult. You have 15 minutes to look over a 10+ paged document and understand what the case study is about and how you could advise your client. Make brief notes on the general scenario so that you don't forget what is happening, and also make brief notes on how you'd advise your client. Most of this exercise will entail you thinking on the spot. Partner interview- you have to present on a pre-prepared presentation on a topic they give you. Was not very intimidating and partner just wanted to know my motivations for consulting and deloitte. Went fairly well.
