Face to face on site and based on the STAR technique. I had experience in other areas and had not previously worked at a bank. I was looking for a position that did not require me to be on call or work at home (unless I worked at home for the 8 hours). I interviewed with the manager of the team that I would be on and there was some similarity in our work background in that he had some of the same type of jobs that I'd previously held. Very friendly and personable, and I was fairly certain when I left the interview that a offer would be forthcoming.
