      Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Box (Los Altos, CA)

      Entrevista

      I interviewed at box recently and had a somewhat puzzling experience. Box is rapidly hiring and I was more than qualified for the position. In some cases I knew more than the people interviewing me. I'm not sure exactly what box is looking for but I don't think it is talent. I came from a much larger infrastructure and thought I "wowed" everyone I met. Answered all easy technical questions correctly and worked on helping to scale and solve past and current problems. I also felt I meshed well culturally with everyone during my 6 hour interview there. I had a lot to offer them do to massive scaling, engineering and DR / monitoring planning but they are not proceeding. All i can say is that it's their loss. I also met with one employee who was a previous google kid. He was rather rude and short tempered in the beginning like he didn't want to be there. By the end I believe I won him over but it seemed a bit unprofessional to me. I think they might want to consider revamping their interview process as perhaps I didn't get a chance to showcase my talents enough. Also be prepared to have 2 minutes of rushed questions for their team and for explaining the role further. Their recruiter also needs to be able to schedule better as I received many emails at 1am asking if I could interview the following morning.
