Entrevista
Phone interview, face-to-face interview with three different managers who independently asked similar questions and also shared job content, culture and the rationale for recruiting. It was a very open atmosphere and they did not play games. Very clear that they were looking for someone to fit the BASF culture rather than only someone for that single job.
Interviewers were friendly. They described their process and what they expect from me clearly. Focused more on my technical fit for the role. More like a discussion rather than an interview. Overall got a positive impression about the company and the people in there.
The interview process with BASF began with an initial phone screen with the recruiter, which mainly consisted of high-level yes-or-no questions regarding my background and experience. After the phone screen, the next step was a panel interview with multiple team members. During the panel interview, each panelist asked a question focused on behavioral and technical experiences, and responses were expected to follow a STAR-style format by clearly describing the situation, task, actions taken, and results achieved.
