The interview process with BASF began with an initial phone screen with the recruiter, which mainly consisted of high-level yes-or-no questions regarding my background and experience. After the phone screen, the next step was a panel interview with multiple team members. During the panel interview, each panelist asked a question focused on behavioral and technical experiences, and responses were expected to follow a STAR-style format by clearly describing the situation, task, actions taken, and results achieved.
