Responsibilities

• Support teachers in implementing curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning materials using instructional design principles and learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Supervise children during activities, ensuring safety and promoting positive behavior management strategies.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster curiosity, creativity, and social interaction, including toddler care and preschool experiences.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports classroom management and effective learning.
• Collaborate with educators to adapt instruction for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive education practices are followed.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and classroom events, demonstrating strong communication skills.

Skills

• Proven experience in early childhood education or preschool settings with classroom management expertise.
• Knowledge of curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and library services.
• Familiarity with instructional design techniques and learning technology platforms like LMS.
• Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special educational needs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with parents confidently.
• Experience in behavior management strategies to foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Knowledge of Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus.
