About Us

Sydney Salsa Classes and Alma Dance are among Australia's fastest-growing Latin dance companies.

Over the last few years, we've introduced thousands of people to salsa and bachata dancing and built one of Australia's largest Latin dance communities. Our mission is to bring people together through dance, music, culture, and human connection.

We're looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with the Director and help keep projects, people, and operations running smoothly across the business.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organised, and making sure things actually get done.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work closely with the Director and gain exposure to many different areas of a growing business.

You'll be involved in projects across operations, events, customer experience, marketing, team management, and business growth.

No two days are exactly the same. You'll help solve problems, coordinate projects, support the team, and play an important role in helping the business continue to grow.

As the company expands, there may be opportunities for the right person to take on greater responsibility and step into more operational and management-focused roles over time.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work directly with the Director to help keep projects, people, and operations running smoothly across the business.

This is a varied role that may involve:

• Executive and administrative support
• Project coordination and follow-up
• Assisting with business operations
• Supporting events and community initiatives
• Communicating with staff, clients, and suppliers
• Helping improve systems and processes

No two days are exactly the same, and you'll have the opportunity to get involved in many different areas of the business.

Hours & Location

• Flexible part-time or full-time opportunities available
• Based in Sydney
• Combination of studio, office, and remote work may be available depending on the candidate
• Some evening availability may occasionally be required due to classes and events

Pay: $63,852.65 – $110,223.71 per year
