Jr. eLearning Specialist

Under the supervision of the eLearning Lead, the eLearning Specialist develops high‑quality learning content and multimedia materials using a wide range of authoring and media production tools. The role performs all core responsibilities of a Junior eLearning Developer while demonstrating enhanced proficiency in multimedia creation, content structuring, basic instructional design, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and updates SCORM and Ascentify eLearning modules, learning objects, animations, videos, and assessments following established standards.
  • Applies instructional and visual design principles to produce effective materials.
  • Assists in developing storyboards, content outlines, assessment items, and interaction design concepts with guidance.
  • Creates enhanced multimedia assets, including graphics, illustrations, animations, motion graphics, video edits, and audio-enhanced content.
  • Completes assigned eLearning development tasks within established timelines and development standards.
  • Produces eLearning assets and materials that meet expected quality requirements with minimal rework.
  • Incorporates feedback from team members to enhance quality and technical capability.
  • Conducts prototype testing, implementation, evaluation, and LMS integration activities.
  • Collaborates with LMS Admin during upload, QA, and troubleshooting.
  • Contributes to ongoing improvements in templates, processes, and development standards.
  • Supports the Lead or Senior Developer in presenting modules, prototypes, or design concepts to clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Provides clear status updates and clarifications when directly interfacing with clients (as assigned).
  • Conducts peer reviews of eLearning modules, multimedia assets, and storyboards to ensure accuracy, consistency, adherence to standards, and overall quality; provides constructive feedback to support skill development and uphold team quality benchmarks.
  • Stays up to date on eLearning trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensures compliance to company rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably relating to Information Technology, Education, Graphical Arts, Instructional Design or related fields.
  • At least 1 year demonstrated relevant experience in eLearning and multi-media development.
  • 2 years writing experience (content writing / copywriting / technical writing) is an advantage.
