DevOps Engineer with Java 8+ and SQL

Non negotiable: (MUST HAVE)
1. Experience working with SQL and JPA – High level
2. Hands-on experience with Java 8+ - Not extensive but should at least have the ability to understand code when needed
3. Experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP
4. Experience in incident management.
5. Experience in automated unit and integration testing.
6. Proficiency with Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket

Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP.
• Basic scripting skills such as Python or Unix/Shell.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and working with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java 8 or higher.
• Implement automated unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Manage incidents effectively to minimize business impact.
• Work with SQL and Java Persistence API (JPA) for database interactions.
• Utilize cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with teams using Git platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Break down complex problems and solve them systematically.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to Php130,000.00 per month
