Together with our partners Elbdeich Reederei and Ocean Yield AS, we celebrated the name giving of M/V ZIM YANGTZE and M/V ZIM MISSISSIPPI at the Korean shipyard HJ Shipbuilding & Construction. The series of in total six 5,500 TEU container vessels features state-of-the-art specifications and an environmentally friendly design, offering a 40% reduction in fuel consumption and allowing for conversion to carbon-neutral operations based on green methanol. Upon delivery, both vessels will commence a 7-year charter with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services. We congratulate and thank our team and the teams at Wilhelmsen Ship Management and Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management for their hard work and dedication during the construction process.
