🗣️ "Growth Mindset is one of the major reasons why I’ve remained at Prodigy Education. Throughout my career I’ve always been interested in self-growth. I didn’t always get that at other companies, but at Prodigy it’s been a very different experience." Meet Brian McAleese, Prodigy's Director of Game Engineering! 🔧 🕹️ Brian has been with Prodigy for six years. We spoke to him about his career journey, and what makes Prodigy different - for the right reasons - from other game-related companies he's worked at. 🧡 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gghVMnsZ
Prodigy has been named a winner in the Tech & Learning Best of Show Awards at hashtag#ISTELive25! 🏆 🎉 Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of industry expert judges and editors, and are selected on a points score against a range of criteria, including innovation, feature set, reliability, and performance. Way to go team - and thanks as always to all the kids, teachers, and parents supporting our mission to help every student in the world love learning! 🧡
It's never been more important - or more complicated - for schools to ensure their classroom hashtag#EdTech is safe and secure. 🔒 At Prodigy, exceeding best practices in cybersecurity and safeguarding user data is always top-of-mind. It's one of the reasons we recently received the Common Sense Privacy Seal for "going above and beyond." Chief Technology Officer Ben Johnson leads Prodigy's work on cybersecurity, and spoke to eSchool News about the "green flags" districts and schools should look for when assessing classroom tools. 👇 https://lnkd.in/gpeqzYiU
🎶 Happy Birthday to Us! 🎶 Prodigy is celebrating 14 years of helping every student in the world love leaning! 🧡 🎂 From humble beginnings - including a Dragon's Den appearance by our co-founders Alexander Peters and Rohan Mahimker - to hosting the World's Biggest Math Competition with the hashtag#ProdigyNationalCup. Like our students, we've come a long way. Thanks to the many millions of students, teachers, and families who've supported our journey. We wouldn't be here without you. 😊

Meet Cara Yarzab - Staff Product Manager. Cara re-joined Prodigy in March 2024, having previously worked at the company in a number of roles between 2019 and 2022. She is now responsible for leading product teams around developing amazing experiences, with a focus on our educator users.
Prodigy Education, leaders in game-based learning, has joined the Access 4 Learning (A4L) Community, and its special interest group the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), in a move which reinforces the company’s already stringent commitment to online privacy and security.
It’s now even easier for teachers to set and review engaging and adaptive math and English practice for students thanks to the new Prodigy add-on for Google Classroom. Through this add-on, which can be installed from the Google Workspace Marketplace for schools and districts subscribed to Google’s Education Plus plan or Google’s Teaching & Learning Upgrade, standards-aligned Prodigy assignments can now be quickly created by teachers without leaving Google Classroom.
