Promoting active and healthy lifestyles in our communities 🎾 Our Orbit Homes team have partnered up with West Northamptonshire Pickleball CIC to help raise awareness of the sport in the local area. Funded by our community investment programme, this sponsorship will help the club offer fun pickleball sessions for all ages, host social events, and work towards their goal of a dedicated pickleball facility in the area. West Northamptonshire Pickleball is based near our Micklewell Park development in Daventry and we’re delighted to support the club!
Our colleagues from Orbit Homes recently volunteered to give a mini-makeover to the Let's Play Project, a charity in Banbury that supports children and young people aged 5-25 with additional needs. Our team rolled up their sleeves to redecorate the charity’s activity room and hallway, creating an improved and welcoming space for the young people who attend after-school clubs, youth groups, and holiday activities. Here at Orbit, we’re committed to giving back to our communities, and what better way to do that than by partnering with a local charity and having some fun along the way. We hope this refreshed space will bring joy for many years to come! ✨ Check out the full story by clicking on the image below!

Inspiring the housebuilders of tomorrow 🏠 Recently, our colleagues at Orbit Homes were joined by pupils from Hill View Primary School for a fun and educational day out at our Calthorpe Gardens development in Banbury, as part of our ‘Building Buddies’ programme. Children tried their hand at bricklaying and even teamed up with colleagues to build their own 3D model home, helping them to learn about each stage of the housebuilding process. It was great to see pupils asking questions and learning more about construction and all the different careers it offers. All the students received a special completion certificate to take home after the visit too! ‘Building Buddies’ is aimed at children aged 7 to 11 in Key Stage Two and allows them to learn more about housebuilding and the range of skills used in the industry whilst safely exploring new homes sites.
