This September, we celebrate East and South East Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month, a time to honor the vibrant cultures, histories, and contributions of ESEA communities. This year’s theme, “Reframing Resilience,” encourages us to look beyond traditional notions of strength. It’s a chance to reflect on the steadfast and enduring resilience that has shaped generations and to recognize the power of resistance, collective support, and vulnerability.
We are proud to recognize Lucinda Diaz as our Q2 2025 Held’s Hero Award recipient. In addition to her work alongside an entrepreneurial team of finance professionals, Lucinda is actively involved in leading fundraising efforts for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to curing cystic fibrosis and improving the lives of those affected by this genetic disorder, which impacts the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The Held’s Hero Award is a pillar of J.S. Held’s corporate social responsibility program, Helping Hands, focused on collectively upholding our goals of supporting the communities we serve, encouraging our employees' charitable endeavors, and helping us all feel more connected to the world around us. In recognition of her philanthropic efforts, Lucinda will receive a monetary donation from J.S. Held to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
