NCI Designation Congratulations to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center team, whose research consortium partnership with Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center has been renewed by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The center has also been given comprehensive cancer center status. Awarded by way of a competitive, rigorous, peer-reviewed grant, it is the institute’s highest designation. This is excellent news for patients and communities from Washington, DC to New Jersey and beyond!

As he continues his significant work expanding access to care in New Jersey, opening urgent cares, forming a Health & Wellness Center in Clark, and breaking ground on the first health center at a transportation hub; nationally, as a thought leader contributing keynote innovations and talking points at the 2024 HIMSS Conference and POLITICO Healthcare Summit; and internationally, through his work as chair of the World Economic Forum's Health & Healthcare Governors Community.
