We had a great afternoon with our Quincy neighbors, the New England Free Jacks! The team won another Major League Rugby (MLR) title last summer, making that three in a row. Their championship trophy, the MLR Shield, is going on tour and made a stop at Arbella, the Official Home and Auto Insurance Partner of the New England Free Jacks.
We're thrilled to announce that Arbella's own Jeremy Smith is being inducted into the Special Olympics Massachusetts Hall of Fame! Thank you to the SOMA team for helping us surprise Jeremy and his family with this outstanding news. Congratulations, Jeremy!
Arbella's Contact Center celebrated receiving the “Best Customer Service Innovation” award at the 2025 International Customer Management Institute (ICMI) Global Contact Center Awards! We hosted our annual employee holiday luncheon this week, which included some traditional Jewish menu items in celebration of Hannukah—berry jam Sufganiyot and Latkes. Sharing these fun moments together is what the holiday season is all about. Here's to another wonderful year at Arbella!
Arbella's Wellness Team served up some festive holiday treats! Employees enjoyed hot spiced pear cider, chilled cranberry punch, savory parmesan popcorn, and popcorn topped with dark chocolate and crushed candy cane. The team taught us about the surprising health benefits of these snacks. Popcorn is high in fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, while pears and cranberries offer vitamin C antioxidants and help prevent illness.
This has been a year to remember for the Arbella Insurance Foundation. To celebrate 20 years of giving, the Foundation was honored to provide $20,000 grants to 20 nonprofits throughout New England. These organizations were nominated by Arbella Insurance Group employees and agents and show the ongoing commitment of the Arbella community to those in need. This year, many nonprofits struggled with a higher demand for services and reduced funding. In recognition of the work these organizations do, we hosted a luncheon to thank them for the positive impact they have in our neighborhoods. Whether they fight hunger, offer shelter, or help with health and learning, these organizations change lives every day. We are proud to stand with them and are looking forward to many more years of making a difference. 💙
Our Toys for Tots holiday gift drive is in full swing! 🎁 This is the fifth year in a row that the Arbella Activities Committee (AAC) has hosted this drive. Through this effort, the AAC collaborated with the Boston Toys for Tots chapter to provide toys to children throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, and Northern Plymouth Counties.
The Arbella Activities Committee is excited to once again host the South Shore YMCA Germantown Adopt-A-Family Program! By participating in this program, Arbella employees spread holiday cheer by helping local families with their holiday shopping. Giving back to our communities around Giving Tuesday holds a special significance, as it allows us to help local families have a joyful holiday season.
To celebrate Veteran's Day and honor those who have served, Arbella's Diversity and Inclusion Council gave out cookies from Ula Cafe, a local Veteran-owned business.
