Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en the LEGO Group en abr 2023
Entrevista
Applied on the website and got an email inviting me to do a recorded video series rather than a 121 interview. I, personally, hate being on camera in that kind of situation. I had to record 2min answers to questions - it made me really uncomfortable and it obviously felt very one-sided. I don't feel like I came across well at all because it was such a strange situation to be talking to camera with no one to bounce off or ask questions to. Unsurprisingly I didn't make it through to the next stage. Such a shame and a hard hit to me personally as I love LEGO and was really excited about the role.

There were 8 in total. The ones I can remember are: - Quick summary of yourself/career. - One fact about yourself that may be missing from your CV. - Why do you want to work at LEGO. - Why are you right for this role.

First I sent my CV through their online system, then I had a phone interview with the recruiter, followed by a Skype interview with the manager of the team.
Then I was invited for an interview at their offices, where I had to bring a presentation then answer interview questions.

The whole interview process took seven months. I've been contacted in may for the preliminary questions about the Digital Media Lead at the London HUB and the recruiter - that was going on maternity leave - told me after one month that i was more suitable for the Social Media Manager role but that she was going to pass the ball to her colleague.
I've heard nothing for 5 months just to be informed two days ago that "LEGO will no longer pursue your candidacy".
So, basically, at first they told me "We want to interview you for this job position" and then "No, wait we have changed our mind, better talk about the Social Media Manager role!" and they TOTALLY FORGOT to do it.
I've reached out the HR Office in London to complain about the whole story. Just to be clear: i'm complaining about the ridicolous lack of professionalism, not about the outcome of the application and what i got was 15 minutes of polite and useless excuses.
It's sad to learn that LEGO has a total lacking of seriousness on his recruitment process and that probably the whole new philosophy of the London HUB is made up just to make a couple of news on The Guardian.
