* The company rescinded mutually signed job offer
Applied online and was contacted by the recruiter for availability. Attended several interview sessions with the hiring manager, technical, and cross functional teams. The technical team were nice and professional.
An offer letter was provided. After rounds of negotiations, I signed the offer letter, and I gave termination notice to my previous manager. I was getting ready to move to the new position at this company; suddenly, I was informed by the recruiting team that the company has decided to rescind the mutually signed job offer as a result of uncertainties in macro-economy.
It was so unprofessional to see that the company is rescinding a mutually signed job offer. It was evident that there was significant miscommunication issue between different teams within the company. In addition, it was evident that higher level management team (Leadership) makes sudden and unexpected decisions.
Overall, my impression was highly negative, and I do not recommend entering the interview process with this company. It could be a waste of time and energy, even after you receive and accept a job offer!
