Entrevista
1 assignment followed by 3 rounds of interview, first round is RCA case, second round is Product design case. Most of the questions are about Zynga's games like Farmville and very detailed interviews

If the retention of Famrville game has declined, how would you understand what happened
Very smooth experience. Going through 1 round HR and 1 round hiring manger, and then meeting with the product team and lastly meeting with higher level product director. HR is very responsive and give clear guidance.

Entrevista
Had 5 interviews with 1-2 people in each interview. Interviewed with 7 people in total (excluding the recruiters screening call). My first interview was with the Senior Executive Producer of the project, later I interviewed with peers and team members of the project. All of the people I interviewed with seemed like nice people and all happy to work for Zynga. Everyone was super kind and passionate and I would have been happy to work with the individuals I interviewed with. The project was interesting and the role as well. Although the people seemed to have a great culture in terms of sharing a passion to make great games and support each other through the process, I was not keen to join the company when I was offered. The role I applied for was expected to work late on all weekdays, due to cross continent collaborations. The workday would be most hectic at 3pm and go on until 8 pm I was told. The hierarchy of the project seemed outdated - very top down. Rather than focusing on building a great quality project, my interviews focused on my ability to track velocity and delivering on deadlines. I would be happy to apply to Zynga at another point in time, perhaps another project, but for this project in particular I would not have fitted well.

Are you familiar with tracking velocity? Are you familiar with bug burn down charts?
