Slow and steady steps, good communication throughout the entire process. Lots of help from the recruiter to prepare for each stage, understanding who the interviewing audience was for each instance. Several phone interviews, followed by on-site panel interview, finally phone interview with group VP.

My application was rejected at the first instance after uploading on the portal. They did not even called me. Later I got referred by a friend and first round was conducted. I was rejected even after answering almost all questions.
