Besides talking to recruiter Sahib, I had 4 interview sessions: with a hiring manager: the introduction of the company and the group was very helpful as the group is working on a new product. Coding: it’s a leetcode style question. The interviewer also shared great info about the product. Data science and machine learning: I asked a lot of clarifying questions. System design: it’s about designing an internal product for product managers to check out. The emphasis is to keep the system as simple as possible. In other words, first have a simple system that works, then add a queuing server or a cache server only when necessary. I asked which component would you like me to dive deeply into. The data model! I was also asked to write SQL queries. I enjoyed speaking to each of the five people. I’m grateful that they made an effort to provide a great experience for a candidate.
