I went through a five-round interview process over the course of nearly two months. The final round was particularly disheartening — the interviewer opened the call confused about which role I was applying for and incorrectly assumed I was interviewing for a designer position. After I clarified, they proceeded to share their screen and asked me to critique the design and suggest changes. After investing significant time and effort into the process, I received a generic rejection email a month after the final interview. There was no feedback, no acknowledgment of the time commitment, and the tone was cold and impersonal. For a company that puts candidates through five rounds, I expected more professionalism and basic courtesy. The experience left me questioning how they value people, both internally and externally.

Interviewers asked about job experiences, qualifications, and scenario behavioral questions, and they also provided information about the job and what the day-to-day would look like for someone working in that position.

I had a 10-minute video screener with a recruiter followed by a 45-minute conversation with the hiring manager and a 90-minute panel interview with members of the team. After the two rounds of interviews with the team, I was rejected via an automated email sent late at night. After spending hours prepping and interviewing, I was surprised (and found it extremely inconsiderate of my time and energy) that I wasn't notified directly that I was no longer in consideration.
