      The interview process took over 3 months. With the human resource department being the first step. Then interviewed with a South Salt Lake County Manager, a North Salt Lake County Manager, a Private Banking Officer Manager, then two Executive Management Managers. They are not fast to hire. Be prepared for a long wait.

      Branch Manager Take your career to the next level by applying to be a Branch Manager at Zions Bank. In this role, you’ll not only be managing your own portfolio of commercial clientele, you’ll also have the opportunity to lead a team of exceptional bankers. While you’ll be responsible for running and growing the business of the branch, our senior leadership team is committed to supporting you and helping to make your team a success! Turn your dreams into a reality by joining an organization dedicated to helping their employees grow at Zions Bank. Oversees the operation of the entire branch. This includes loans, deposits, other referral products, and service quality while managing a complement of exempt and non-exempt personnel. As the primary business development officer, is responsible for the expansion of existing business relationships, the development of new business and calling on both prospective and existing clients. Primarily responsible for providing sales leadership for the financial center, which includes overseeing both the inside and outside sales efforts of the branch’s employees. Directs branch activities, maintaining appropriate operational, and credit risk management and security oversight in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Extends credit to businesses and/or individuals through a wide variety of commercial, consumer, real estate, and agricultural loans. Responsible for community development and relations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requires an associate degree and 1+ year branch banking or other directly related banking or retail management experience. Some supervisory or management experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualification. Knowledge of the banking industry, including lending and banking products. Must have excellent customer service and management skills. Ability to make sound decisions, build relationships and work with a variety of clients, employees and management. Requires effective communication skills.
